Projects
We wish to create a space in which individuals can come together to create something spectacular. MESS competes in a number of competitions and other contests that help enrich our understanding of materials engineering as well as teamwork. Some of these projects include electroplating, bladesmithing, and metallography.
PresentationsA mainstay of a majority of our meetings are highlighted with speakers from industry as well as professors working in materials engineering. These presentations focus on the speaker's career path and experience with materials.

SocialOne of our forefront objectives is to create a social environment that anyone can enjoy. This is done through social events such as games, potlucks, movie nights, and much more. We are always looking for new ways to bring fun and excitement to the club.
Field Trips
We try hard to create opportunities of exposure to industry that include field trips to companies and facilities engaged in material engineering related processes.
